Overview

Greatwest Maintenance is seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and machinery form Forklifts, areal lifts, skid steers, and telehandlers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background to contribute to the efficiency and safety of our operations.

Duties

Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, engines, and equipment Replace worn or damaged parts with precision and efficiency Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they lead to breakdowns Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed

Skills

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role, with strong diagnostic skills Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks safely Certification or training in automotive, industrial, or diesel mechanics is preferred but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
