Job Summary

We are seeking a self motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic Assistant to support our maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation of machinery and equipment. This role provides an opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and repair processes within our property maintenance company.

Duties

Assist head mechanic with routine maintenance and repair tasks on various machinery and equipment. Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing tools and parts needed for repairs. Support in diagnosing mechanical issues by observing and reporting abnormal operations. Help with the installation, removal, and replacement of parts under supervision. Maintain

detailed records

of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Perform basic troubleshooting to identify potential mechanical problems early. Assist with inventory management of parts and tools required for maintenance tasks.

Requirements

Strong willingness to learn mechanical systems, tools, and safety procedures. Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team. Basic understanding of mechanical concepts or prior experience in maintenance is advantageous but not required. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
