OBJECTIVE



Experienced and dependable Shop Mechanic with over 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining and managing construction equipment and tools, seeking a long-term leadership opportunity as a Maintenance Manager. Passionate about team culture, operational excellence, and maintaining a safe, organized, and high-performance shop environment.

Shop Operations & Inventory Management
Equipment Loading, Logistics & Delivery
Preventive Maintenance Scheduling
Team Leadership & Training
Clean & Safe Workplace Standards
Vendor Coordination & Parts Ordering

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE



Equipment Serviced & Maintained:

-Excavators & Mini-Excavators
-Skid Steers
-Gas Axes, Slab Saws
-Concrete Cutting & Coring Equipment
-Power Tools (Corded & Cordless)
-Light Fleet Vehicle Maintenance (bonus skill)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENC

E

-Performed diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on a range of small to heavy-duty construction equipment.

- Maintained a high-paced workflow during peak seasons with minimal downtime.

-Supported the logistics team with loading/unloading and occasional delivery of equipment to active job sites.

-Ensured the shop and all maintenance areas remained clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards.

- Collaborated closely with field teams to anticipate and respond to urgent repair needs.

- Participated in equipment upgrade planning and implemented preventive maintenance systems.

- Highlight responsibilities tied to tools, shop support, field service, or vehicle maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS



5+ years' experience maintaining small to large construction tools and equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic, diesel, gas, and electric systems.
Valid driver's license with a clean abstract; experience with equipment delivery preferred.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of facility operations and equipment condition.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
