Job Description
Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Peace River, AB
Duration: 12 months Contract
Required:
- Client generator maintenance, assembly and troubleshooting experience
- Client engine maintenance, assembly and troubleshooting experience
- Wellhead drive maintenance, assembly and troubleshooting experience
- Hydraulic stroking unit maintenance, assembly and troubleshooting experience
- Millwright, Automotive or Heavy Duty mechanic journeyman certificate required
- Perform scheduled and on-call mechanical maintenance in field and shop environments.
- Assemble, test, and commission Client engines, hydraulic skids, generators, drive heads, and stroking unit packages.
- Operate and maintain field service trucks and assigned equipment per maintenance programs.
- Supervise apprentices and ensure compliance with quality, health, and safety standards.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers.
- Adhere to PCP Product Line standards and reliability-centered maintenance procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset utilization, reduce cost of service delivery, and boost team productivity.
- Participate in failure investigations and assist with cost-saving and repair optimization projects.
