As the Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, production, operation & support of various marine robotic systems, including Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and seafloor drills.

Duties & Responsibilities
Build, test, and operate subsea robotics
Maintain a safe, and efficient mechanical shop environment
Monitor inventory levels and recommend purchases as appropriate
Liaise with other disciplines as needed, including Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Project Management & Operations
Strive to ensure quality and timely delivery of finished products to clients
Follow safe working practices and report near misses
Provide field and operations support
Required Qualifications
College diploma or higher with focus on mechanical systems OR high school diploma and significant relevant work experience
