Your role:
The Operations Supervisor plans, organizes, directs, and monitors the activities of their department based on prioritized execution. They are responsible for managing the resources at their disposal and improving processes, with the goal of producing profitable, high-quality projects delivered on time. The ideal candidate must have strong priority management skills, be adept at reading plans, and enjoy teamwork.
Main Responsibilities:
Proactively and effectively prepare production activities by reviewing drawings and methods;
Verify the availability of materials, tools, templates, and useful information to provide technical assistance to resources;
Participate in or delegate the appropriate resource to any meeting requiring technical input in the preparation of work orders, project launches, and work execution;
Assign the appropriate resources to the work according to the skills matrix and planning priorities;
Communicate and monitor projected versus actual hours, focusing on execution efficiency. ;
Ensure the efficient use of human, material, and raw material resources made available to them, and in this spirit, conduct structured rounds according to established rules;
Ensure the communication, maintenance, and display of useful performance indicators;
Ensure safe behavior by team members, while respecting the environment;
Identify, correct, and control workplace risks;
Carry out prevention activities with employees;
Promote individual accountability and autonomy, in compliance with the collective agreement;
Identify the skills to be developed among their resources and implement appropriate actions;
