In support of our growth, we are seeking a
Mechanical Service Technician
to join our team. This is a key customer-facing role responsible for delivering exceptional on-site and remote support. You will perform equipment repairs, maintenance, and training at customer sites, provide phone support, and sell parts and service packages. Additionally, you will assist with assembly work and product testing as needed. Diesel engine or diesel mechanic background and a customer-focused approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction & Technical Support:
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, offering outstanding support remotely and on-site.
Provide phone-based technical support, troubleshooting issues, and guiding customers toward effective solutions.
Promote and sell parts, maintenance kits, and service packages to ensure customers' equipment stays operational and efficient.
Field Service & Repair:
Travel to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to keep systems running smoothly.
Perform preventive maintenance and provide expert recommendations to optimize equipment performance.
Training & Demonstrations:
Deliver tailored training programs for customers on product operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Create and maintain instructional materials such as manuals and guides.
Assembly & Production Support:
Assist with equipment assembly, quality control, and product testing within the production facility.
Provide feedback to engineering and product teams based on hands-on field experience.
Essential Skills:
Strong background in diesel engines or diesel mechanics.
Professional and respectful communication skills, both in-person and over the phone, when interacting with customers.
Ability to learn and troubleshoot our product lines.
Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites for maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and training.
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
Must be able to travel, including to the U.S., with a valid driver's license.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in a technical field (e.g., Mechanics, Electrical Engineering) preferred.
4 to 6 years of experience in technical support, field service, or maintenance roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Hands-on experience in assembly and testing of industrial equipment.

Pay: $58,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
