Automann services its distributors out of (5) US Distribution centers; Monroe Township NJ (HQ), New Lennox IL, Duncanville TX, Hiram, GA and Ontario CA, (2) distribution centers in Canada: Brampton ON and Edmonton AB, and Mexico.

Summary



Primary Duties:

Performing Quality check on the sample prototypes and incoming shipment parts using inspection methods and tools for measuring critical dimensions and properties of the parts.

Preparing official reports such as non-confirmatory reports (NCR) for the faulty supplier part, and sample inspection reports showing the detailed observations and specifications of the product.

Conducting DFMEA (failure analysis) to check the material properties and sustainability of the product on the claims of returned defective parts.

Ensuring the maintenance of overall process and product standards by coordinating with purchasing team, engineering team, production team and the management.

Answering queries of sales department and customer service that are pertaining to the technical aspects of the product, and the application understanding of it.

Secondary Duties:

Analyzing, verifying and mitigating failure modes of the product using the reverse engineering processes of 3D scanning (meshing software - Geomagic Design X) and prototyping.

Designing and modeling truck and trailer parts using CAD packages of Solid works and PTC Creo.

Communicating with supplier regarding the manufacturing details of the product during the product development stage and production process.

Generating application images using Keyshot 9.0, to give customers a detailed idea of the functioning and use of the product.

Generating 360 view VR using Keyshot 9.0 that shows all angle view of the product on the Automann website

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

To be flexible, open-minded and always ready for a new challenge

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities

Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD and Creo will be considered an added advantage for this role

- Operate in a cross-functional team.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
