We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager/Estimator/On-Site Manager to join our team in the Calgary area. The ideal candidate will oversee management of all phases of commercial and multi-family residential construction projects, including employees, subcontractors, materials and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed. The successful person will ensure our work is done with quality, on schedule and within budget. You will have the opportunity to take a leadership role within the company working directly with the owner to help with project selections and overall company growth.
Responsibilities
Over-see day-to-day management of multiple projects, including commercial new builds, commercial tenant improvements and multi-family residential projects.
Create estimates and bids for potential projects.
Manage all areas of construction including communications with the owner, consultants and sub-trades.
Manage on-site personnel including Superintendents, Forepersons, and Support Staff.
Oversee project set up, scheduling and cost control.
Work with Superintendents and Forepersons to deliver safety-oriented, on schedule and high-quality projects.
Prepare progress invoices, shop drawing submittals, RFI's, and change orders to clients and subtrades.
Procure project site materials and equipment.
Track project budgets and report to owner.
Develop potential business opportunities and pursue potential projects.
Skills
and Requirements
5 years experience as a project manager and supervision on commercial, tenant improvements and multi-family building projects is mandatory.
Experience in construction estimating an asset.
Ability to manage and provide guidance for multiple projects at once.
Desire to work directly with the senior leadership team and support the continuing growth of the company on a long-term basis.
Proven ability to lead.
Strong coordination, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to find quick solutions and proactively implement them as problems arise.
Comfortable on commercial and/or multi-family projects.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Mechanical Site Supervision: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
