ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Project Coordinator, you\xe2\x80\x99ll harness your organizational and problem-solving skills and leverage your expertise to play a pivotal role in driving projects forwards! You will provide essential support and coordination to project managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle. In other words, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be there to ensure smooth project execution! Your role will include: * Spearheading project execution by ensuring meticulous job setup following company procedures, setting the stage for success from the start.

• Participate actively in site visits and meetings, diligently capturing and updating meeting minutes, enabling effective collaboration amongst your team.
• Owning the management of all Requests for Information (RFIs), Change Order (CO) processes, and Contract Change Orders (CCOs), ensuring accuracy and prompt deliverables.
• Acting as a key liaison between the lead estimator and project manager, facilitating effective communication and coordination in project handover to the operations team.
• Sourcing competitive material and subcontractor quotes, actively participating in procurement activities, and contributing to sub-trade contract negotiations to establish a solid project foundation.
• Harnessing your exceptional communication skills to compose and submit RFIs under the guidance of the Project Manager, fostering clear and concise project communication channels.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• 1+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator position or similar role.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or relevant work experience.
• You have a desire to grow alongside our team, harnessing your skills and unlocking your potential along the way!
• Ability to interpret Mechanical drawings and navigate relevant software including eSUB, Blue Beam, and Plangrid.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
• You have a strong commitment to your team; you\xe2\x80\x99re ready to jump in and support wherever possible. You truly excel in a team environment!
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience as a Red Seal Certified Plumber, Gas Fitter, and/or HVAC Technician.
• Previous construction experience in the field.
• Knowledge of or experience using AutoCAD.
• BC Class 5 or 7 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
• Own a vehicle.
