Role/Mandate:
This role is responsible for facilitating the completion of in-house service and manufacturing projects.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead the service or assembly of equipment from start to finish.
Development of scope, technical requirements, set-up of work area(s)
Establish methods to meet schedules; prioritization of tasks
Technical assessment of equipment, report completion
Inspect, test, diagnose and repair equipment
Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
Coordinate with PREP aftermarket, supply chain and engineering department in regard to replacement parts.
Prepare detailed reports and notes.
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes & Experience:
Certification in Industrial Trade, i.e. Millwright, Heavy-Duty Mechanic, or ASTTBC technologist.
Relevant work experience with gearbox and rotating power transmission products; mobile and stationary hydraulics; and on/off highway trucks.
Experience with energy or mining equipment an asset.
Experience with Electrical/VFD/PLC.
Strong service background.
Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
Good organization of tools and materials.
Strong computer literacy including experience with the MS Office programs.
Consistent execution of safe work habits and practices.
Confident, articulate, and self-disciplined.
Team player.
Valid passport or the ability to get one
Recent driver's abstract.
