Key Responsibilities: Site supervision and delegation of responsibilities of daily tasks to crew \xe2\x80\xa2 Organizing and planning projects based on a thorough understanding of plans, specs, schedules and safe work practices \xe2\x80\xa2 Working effectively with Project Managers and build productive relationships with General Contractors/Owners and Subtrades \xe2\x80\xa2 Leading and encouraging a construction crew recognizing strengths of each individual to achieve quality results \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactive problem solving and conflict resolution \xe2\x80\xa2 Promote and enforce health and safety regulations and requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor quality control on site \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage all on site material and ensure sufficient quantities to complete job Qualifications:
- Must be an active member of Skilled Trades Ontario and hold a 306A license \xe2\x80\xa2 2+ years of commercial and industrial experience as a Senior Journeyman, Lead Hand, or Foreman \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated ability to lead people \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Capacity to coordinate multiple tasks through superior time management skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Highly organized, detail oriented & self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Team focused with ability to work independently to meet deadlines and goals \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of the latest construction technology and equipment
