Job Description

As a Mechanical Maintenance Tradesperson, you will work with a team of fully flexible tradespersons to ensure mill availability is maximized in an efficient manner. With a focus on reliability and Predictive / Preventative maintenance, you will be involved with inspections and repairs to a variety of mill mechanical equipment.



In addition to your immediate team, you will work closely with other departments, which consists of Operations, Mechanical Maintenance, Supply & Services and E/I Together with your team, you will help execute the strategies and initiatives that drive safety, environmental compliance, quality, and production goals While mainly requiring day work, there will be occasional requirements for overtime, on-call or shift relief

Journeyman Pipefitter. Ideally 2-5 years' experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting Previous maintenance experience in heavy industry would be considered an asset Journeyman Welder (F3, F4 Pressure Pipe ticket, Tig & Mig) would be considered an asset Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written Problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
