Develop work instructions for the implementation of our new equipment
Define work methods to improve the quality and execution time of tasks performed
Participate in resolving manufacturing issues in collaboration with suppliers, design engineers, and the production line
Create complete technical and management documentation in collaboration with various stakeholders (production, engineering, quality, logistics, etc.)
Research and propose technical and economic solutions to improve workshop performance
Ensure that work methods are safe and comply with health and safety regulations
Participate in engaging workshop employees
Qualifications
College diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
5 to 10 years of experience in an industrial environment
English proficiency (spoken and written)
French is an asset
Experience in an industrial workshop, ideally in the commissioning of new machines/tools
Experience in a unionized environment
Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel
Available for occasional travel
Available to work all shifts occasionally
