Position Overview: Reporting directly to the Service Supervisor, the position of Technician Helper is responsible for general support and wash bay duties.

Major Job Functions:

• Moving equipment in and out of the shop
• Aid mechanics with general repairs
• Oil sampling, lube and oil changes
• Washing and detailing of equipment
• General clean up of shop, yard and machines
• Other General Duties as required

Knowledge:

• An understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset.
• Computer literacy is required with an understanding of Finning systems and software programs considered assets.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of heavy equipment parts and repairs.

• Maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Understand and adhere to all Finning policies, including Code of Conduct and Safety.
• Ensure all service documentation and billing is accurate and properly recorded.
