Key Responsibilities
Ensure project
timelines, budgets, and quality standards
are met for all clients.
Prepare
concept designs
, load calculations, schematics, equipment selection, and system concept reports.
Coordinate with
internal teams and external consultants/architects
.
Prepare
contract documents
, including specifications.
Conduct
site visits
during construction and collaborate with field review teams.
Ensure
ASHRAE compliance
and
LEED standards
where applicable.
Update
project schedules
regularly and provide
status reports
to the Project Manager.
Evaluate
shop drawings
and escalate resource issues as required.
Assist in
sourcing new work
and maintaining existing client relationships.

Qualifications & Experience
Post-secondary degree in
Mechanical Engineering
or a related discipline (e.g., Building Systems).
Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation
.
5+ years of
engineering and/or design coordination experience
in consulting.
Experience in
multi-discipline project coordination and management
.
Working knowledge of
AutoCAD
and
Revit
is an asset.
Strong understanding of
engineering principles, project management practices, and Canadian/American standards
.
Experience conducting
site visits
is an asset.
Ability to
communicate technical ideas clearly
to non-engineers and executives.
Excellent
time management, project management, and problem-solving skills
.
Strong
independent judgment, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
.
Ability to
interpret and implement company policies and procedures
effectively.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range:
$105,000 - $135,000
, commensurate with experience and skills.
