Job Description
We are seeking an experienced engineering co-op student to work alongside our engineering team to support 3D modelling and 2D drawing detailing of mechanical and electrical components and subsystems within our hydrogen infrastructure equipment.
Responsibilities:
Draft electrical, instrumentation and controls designs of hydrogen infrastructure projects using SolidWorks Electrical. Model and produce drawings of mechanical components and process assemblies using SolidWorks 3D. Support engineers, technicians and electricians in the assembly and testing of hydrogen refueling systems and equipment. Participate alongside staff engineers on projects that involve challenging or unusual technical problems. Develop alternatives, evaluate risks, and provide summaries of alternatives.
Qualifications:
Required: an engineering student enrolled in a university co-op program. Required: at least one prior co-op work term focused on 3D modelling and/or 2D drafting in SolidWorks. Required: Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships with internal and external clients. * Preferred: Experience using DraftSight CAD software.
