Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.

Process Improvement:

Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs into manufacturing operations.

Troubleshooting & Support:

Provide technical support for the resolution of mechanical issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Documentation:

Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports, in compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.

Certifications:

Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in British Columbia is preferred.
