Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

This role involves supporting early-stage prototype testing and design within a dynamic engineering team. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team in an R&D environment.
Responsibilities

• Conduct early-stage testing of prototypes, including force testing and image quality benchmarking.
• Perform statistical analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive write-ups.
• Design test fixtures using SolidWorks software.
• Possibly take on additional product design responsibilities based on workload and expertise.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a product development environment.
• Demonstrated experience with systematic testing and documentation, with iterative testing cycles.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for designing test fixtures.
• Experience with Python, Minitab, or MATLAB for testing.
• Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with imaging tools/metrics like Imatest.
• Experience with optics and cameras.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27/hr.
