We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Canada. This role is HANDS ON in designing, analyzing, and improving manufacturing processes and systems to ensure efficiency and quality. The successful candidate will bring years of HANDS ON experience and be able to work without supervision.
This is not a desk-only engineering role. While daily fabrication is performed by our millwrights and technicians, this engineer must be comfortable being on the floor, supporting builds, validating designs, and solving problems alongside the team.
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for mechanical design, prototyping oversight, and production improvements. Success in this role requires

Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
Analyze mechanical designs for functionality, safety, and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
Create detailed schematics and technical documentation.
Conduct testing and validation of mechanical prototypes.
Support manufacturing operations with technical expertise.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Continuously seek improvements in system design and process efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience with software such as SolidWorks and AutoCad.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in system design, schematics, and drafting.
Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information.

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
