BJ Take Inc. was founded in 1995. Since then we have grown to become an established manufacturer and designer of energy efficient lighting products. Located near the shores of Lake Erie in Dunnville, Ontario, BJ Take has been a leader in innovation and custom design throughout North America for over 25 years.:We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. Examples of your work and responsibilities would include:
- Creating and editing drawings (e.g. 3D models, manufacturing drawings, wiring diagrams)
- Hands-on work including assembly, testing, and evaluation of designs
- Assisting with designs, changes and BOMs
- Preparation of technical documentation such as drawings, and instructions
- Working with production, and engineering personnel to investigate issues with investigate issues with the existing product lines and implementing improvements
- Proficient with 3D CAD modeling (e.g. Inventor, AutoCAD, and/or Mechanical Desktop)
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel would be an asset
- Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma
- Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma
- Any related manufacturing work experience
- Dental care
- Extended health care
- French not required
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Dunnville, ON N1A 2N5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
