Job Overview


Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components on a temporary or project-specific basis. This role involves working closely with engineering to meet their specifications and ensuring that all designs are efficient, reliable, and cost-effective

Responsibilities



Design and Development: Create detailed mechanical designs using CAD software, ensuring they meet engineering specifications and industry standards. Develop prototypes and conduct tests to identify and resolve any design issues. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion. Work with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to integrate mechanical designs with other systems. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of designs, tests, and Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM). Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards. Ensuring workflow and documentation adheres to applicable internal quality management standards. Other duties as required

Experience



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and drafting standards. Hands-on experience with system design involving schematics and mechanical drawings. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machining, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and other automation tools. Strong knowledge of mechanical principles applied within manufacturing environments. Experience working with manufacturing systems, automation equipment, or lab testing is highly desirable. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Prior involvement in projects related to system design, prototyping, or product development is preferred. Certificates/Licenses Requirement:



Professional Engineering (PE) License First Aid and CPR/AED Certificate
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
