Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems for industrial applications and advanced process control technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical solutions into electrolysis-based processes
Create and test prototypes, ensuring they meet design specifications and performance requirements
Conduct feasibility studies, stress analysis, and performance evaluations of mechanical designs
Work with product engineering, production, and R&D teams to develop new products or enhance existing ones
Manage mechanical engineering projects
Prepare detailed technical documentation of design specifications, test plans, drawings, reports, etc.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Master's degree or advanced training preferred
Established mechanical skills and keen aptitude for troubleshooting
3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other design tools
Proficient in FE Analysis
Experience in the metal and mining industry an asset
Familiarity with electrolysis processes or related electrochemical systems is highly desirable
Willingness to travel internationally is a must
Clean driver's license and ability to travel cross-border as needed.
Strong understanding of materials, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
