Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on

Mechanical Engineer

to support the design, packaging, and deployment of next-generation industrial IoT products. The role bridges

mechanical design, CAD modeling, prototyping, and field commissioning

, providing exposure to both product engineering and customer success functions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & Modeling, Prototyping & Field Deployment

Develop

3D CAD models

and manufacturing drawings for product enclosures and packaging of IoT products. Conduct

thermal, structural, and ingress protection (IP65/IP67)

analysis for ruggedized designs. Support

DFM/DFA optimization

for low-volume and scalable production runs. Collaborate with electrical and firmware engineers for board fitment, connector placement, and housing integrity. Support assembly and validation of mechanical prototypes. Participate in field commissioning and installation activities at client sites Perform mechanical and environmental testing of deployed products.

Customer Support & Onboarding

Assist in

customer onboarding

, installation guidance, and post-deployment troubleshooting. Provide

technical documentation

, drawings, and mechanical specifications to clients and integrators. Collaborate with the Customer Success team to resolve field issues and improve design reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

(or related discipline). 2-5 years of experience in

CAD modeling

and product packaging (Creo preferred, SolidWorks or similar). Experience with

Product design

,

IP-rated enclosure design

. Familiarity with

IoT/Embedded products

,

sensor housings

, or

industrial instrumentation

is a strong asset. Basic understanding of

electronics integration

(PCB fitment, cable routing, connectors). Experience with PCB prototyping and printing using tools such as the Voltera V-One Familiarity with PCB milling techniques is a plus Hands-on experience with FDM 3D printing, especially using Creality Ender series printers Ability to participate in

field commissioning

and

customer deployment activities

. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
