Ingenieur Conception d'Outils Specialises
Description
Sous la responsabilite du Responsable des Methodes et des Outils Specialises, l'ingenieur en conception d'outils est implique dans la conception d'outils d'installation, d'usinage, de demontage, de manutention et de levage. Participe a la conception d'outils specialises lies a des projets majeurs recents ou en cours de soumission.
Roles et Responsabilites

• Analyser les informations techniques (specifications techniques, perimetre de travail, division du travail);
• Responsable de la conception des outils speciaux du site pour l'assemblage sur site conformement a la planification et au budget du site en tenant compte de l'aspect EHS;
• Planifier la phase de conception des outils, suivi et coordination avec l'equipe projet;
• Participer aux revues de conception de divers projets et assurer la coherence de la conception avec les methodes d'installation sur site;
• Optimisation de la conception des outils ou de la machine pour ameliorer et reduire le temps d'installation sur site;
• Preparer les informations et superviser l'execution des dessins techniques;
• Rediger des rapports et des documents d'ingenierie, y compris des procedures de test, des notes d'ingenierie, des manuels de maintenance;
• Fournir un support technique a la chaine d'approvisionnement et participer au support technique des equipes sur site;
• Valider le cout des procedures et des outils pendant la phase d'appel d'offres avec d'autres membres de l'equipe Construction & Mise en Service;
• Responsable des livrables et des budgets de leurs projets.

Qualifications

• Diplome de baccalaureat en ingenierie mecanique (ouvert a une ingenierie civile ou structurelle s'ils ont l'experience)
• Minimum de 5 a 10 ans d'experience pertinente en ingenierie des outils et des methodes dans un environnement industriel lourd tel que l'exploitation miniere, les machines lourdes, les systemes de convoyeurs industriels (l'aerospatiale n'est PAS consideree comme lourde)
• Experience dans un role ou partiellement dans un role ou ils devaient etre pratiques avec la fabrication (versus bureau/modelisation uniquement)
• Doit avoir de l'experience avec un logiciel de modelisation 3D (ils utilisent NX, mais peuvent apprendre le logiciel s'ils ne l'ont pas utilise auparavant)
• Aptitude a obtenir des informations d'autres groupes (versus attendre que les informations leur soient envoyees) - L'experience ainsi que l'aptitude sont un atout.
• Connaissance intermediaire de SmartSheet et Excel.

Tooling Design Engineer
Description
Reporting to the Methods & Special Tooling Leader, the tooling design engineer is involved in the design of installation tools, machining, dismantling, handling, and lifting tools. Participate in the design of specialized tools related to recent major projects or being submitted.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze the technical information (technical specifications, scope of work, division of work);
• Responsible for the design of the site's special tooling for site assembly in accordance with site planning and budget considering the EHS aspect;
• Plan the tooling design phase, follow-up and coordination with the project team;
• Participate in design reviews of various projects and ensure design is consistent with site installation methods;
• Optimization of the tooling design or the machine to improve and reduce site installation time;
• Prepare information and supervise the execution of technical drawings;
• Write reports and engineering documents, including test procedures, engineering notes, maintenance manuals;
• Provide technical support to the supply chain and participate in the technical support of the site teams;
• Validate the costing of procedures & tooling during the tendering phase with other members of the Construction & Commissioning team;
• Responsible for the deliverables and budgets for their projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (open to a Civil or Structural Engineering if they have the experience)
• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in tooling and methods engineering within a heavy industrial environment such as mining, heavy machinery, industrial conveyor systems (airspace is NOT considered heavy)
• Experience in a role or partly in a role where they had to be hands on with manufacturing (verse desk/modelling only)
• Must have experience with a 3D modelling software (they use NX, but can learn the software if they have not used it before)
• Aptitude to drive to get information from other groups (verse waiting for information to be sent their way) - Experience as well as aptitude is an asset.
• SmartSheet and Excel Intermediate knowledge.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $64.00/hr.
