Mechanical Drafter

to join our growing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Design industrial freezers and food processing equipment systems based on senior management instructions Develop and maintain design drawings, programs, documents, machine function descriptions, processes, and design versions using 3D modelling (SolidWorks), AutoCAD/DraftSight software and provide job traveler information for production team Provide technical support and liaise between internal field support and shop staff in all facets of design and execution Ensure all specifications & functions are met, optimizing cost and utilization of material and resources as part of the functional design in the freezer industry Verify the designs meet original requirements from concept, analysis, modification, manufacturing inspection, installation, and testing, to final commissioning Work in compliance with all standard administrative, health & safety policies and standard operation procedures Perform relevant job duties as assigned

Qualifications &Abilities

Post-secondary education or above in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Minimum three years of LOCAL working experiences in design and manufacturing of processing equipment (working experience in food processing equipment design preferred) Proficient knowledge of using SolidWorks (minimum 3 years of experiences) Team player, self-motivated, quick learner with a can-do attitude. Willingness to meet quick deadlines and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, mathematical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Fluency in Mandarin is considered an asset due to frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.20-$36.50 per hour
