Job Summary

Impact Engineering is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer who is self-motivated and has a passion for sustainable design and making a positive impact on the environment. You are a trained engineering technologist in mechanical building services design with specific knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems and energy.

You are proficient with AutoCAD/Revit and are a team player with good communication skills and enthusiasm to learn and to grow.

Primary Responsibilities

Set up and prepare AutoCAD or Revit drawings Ensure company AutoCAD and/or Revit standards are being followed Design and drafting of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems Design and drafting of electrical systems Prepare building load calculations using software such as Carrier HAP Assist in the preparation of energy studies and reports; collect and analyze utility data

Qualifications

/ Skills

Diploma/Degree from a mechanical building services program Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office suites such as Word and Excel Ability to read building design drawings Knowledge of building controls and energy management systems an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
