Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team in the Canada. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the design and development of cutting-edge packaging machinery that aligns with our mission of delivering exceptional automated solutions. Your expertise will be vital in shaping our innovative products and ensuring their success in the market.

Responsibilities

Tasks:

Assist in mechanical inspections and construction

Analyze mechanical issues and be able to provide a proper solution

Use manual hand tools for simple fixes and adjustments

Participate in machinery installation, tests and maintenance

Estimate costs of materials

Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings and specifications

Prepare Equipment Manuals

Test machines and equipment

Prepare Machine Layouts

Source out mechanical components

Prepare Prototypes using 3D Printing

Experience and Specialization

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

AutoCad

Solidworks

Metal Fabrication (Sheet Metal, Machining, Welding and Mechanical Assembly)

Pneumatic Circuit

Basic knowledge of automation logic (application of sensors)

3D Printing

Plastic Fabrication Design (Acrylic and Polycarbonate)

Additional Information

*Experience with Packaging Equipment (Vertical and Rotary Baggers, Case Erectors, Case Packers and Palletizers) is a Plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
