Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for our Toronto, Ontario location. This position would design and develop mechanical systems and products, which includes creating 3D CAD models, running simulations, and performing analysis to test and improve designs.
Responsibilities
:Product design including mechanical parts and cabling systems Prepare 3D CAD layout and cabinet enclosure design Read ECR's and update drawings, 3D CAD model Perform and co-ordinate design validation Able to develop product from start
Qualifications/ Education
:Degree in Bachelor of Science in Mechanical design or equivalent Minimum 5 years work experience Experience with 3D CAD software, Solidworks is a prerequisite. Understands the importance of production process capabilities while assigning dimensions and tolerances
Onsite Training Requirements:
Health & Safety Quality (QOS,ISO/TS requirements) Environmental WHMIS
