We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will drive equipment design, product development and continuous improvement initiatives from concept through to completion. You will create detailed 3D CAD models, develop engineering drawings, validate design integrity and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong technical insight and communicates design ideas clearly and effectively.

What You'll Do



Oversee assigned engineering projects from concept, design and prototyping through to production and completion Translate customer needs and value opportunities into robust, cost-effective product concepts and features Perform engineering calculations, analysis and verification to ensure structural integrity, manufacturability and overall design quality Create, maintain and improve product documentation including CAD models, drawings, specifications and work instructions Support product development through prototyping, testing and validation activities Ensure all engineered designs meet contract, regulatory and industry standards Provide technical support to manufacturing, operations and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle Partner with Sales to assist with customer inquiries, technical proposals and product capability discussions Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to product performance, cost reduction and production efficiency Mentor and review work completed by technologists, technicians and junior engineers as needed Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines and resource allocation

What You Bring



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline 5+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry (required) 5+ years of hands on experience in equipment design and manufacturing Current member or eligible for registration with APEGA
