is looking for a

Mechanical Design & Drafter

with

strong

SolidWorks

skills to design and draft mechanical products, including material handling and grain handling equipment. You'll work closely with our designers, field crews, and fabrication shop to turn concepts into high-quality, functional builds. This is a high level position.

What You'll Do:

Create accurate CAD models/drawings in SolidWorks (sheet-metal experience required). Create supporting documentation for sales staff and customers. Determine specifications needed for equipment to align with customer requirements. Collaborate with fabrication and field teams to refine designs. Adapt quickly to evolving projects in a fast-paced environment.

What We're Looking For:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technologist, Drafting, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Solidworks, especially with sheet-metal features. Candidates will be tested to demonstrate their abilities. 2 + years solid mechanical design experience (agriculture/conveyance equipment preferred). Strong grasp of mechanical concepts and creative problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines all while valuing Customer Satisfaction. The desire for independent growth and leadership. Project Management skills are not required but a very valuable asset. The capacity to carry out site visits, troubleshoot and resolve issues. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Legally able to work in Canada.
