Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler, Production Support person to join our amazing team! The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using hand and power tools to assemble various components and systems. This role requires someone who has mechanical aptitude and is self-directed, but enjoys a team environment, has strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret schematics, ensuring that all assemblies meet quality standards.

Duties

Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications and schematics. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete assembly tasks efficiently. Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards. Use calipers and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Operate forklifts for the movement of materials within the warehouse as required. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly processes. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other basic shop equipment. Experience with reading schematics and technical drawings. Experience working with overhead crane & forklift is an asset. Ability to use calipers and other precision measuring instruments accurately. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50-$22.00 per hour
