Job Description

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts into large or heavy subassemblies and complete units, testing and calibrating parts to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications. This position works Day Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Qualifications

:



Basic mechanical understanding and aptitude for assembly tasks.



Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.



Ability to lift 30-50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods. Excellent hand-eye coordination for precise assembly work.



Capability to use hand tools, small power tools, and equipment effectively.



Strong attention to detail to ensure quality in assembly.



Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.



Includes a production environment with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery and other hazards. May involve frequent standing, sitting, walking, crawling, climbing, crouching, balancing, kneeling, reaching and using hands and fingers to handle, use or feel various sized objects. Frequent lifting and moving objects between 10 - 50 pounds. Safety protocols are critical and all associates must adhere to safety requirements at all times.
