Ideal Candidate is someone in semi retirement wanting to continue to be active, to work on a part time permanent basis.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. This ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and machinery. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and welding skills, along with excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. The Repair Technician will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and technical manuals Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy machinery, automotive equipment, and industrial systems Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete repairs Conduct welding repairs and modifications as needed Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to identify problem areas Perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently during repair procedures Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status and solutions effectively Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems when required Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards

Requirements

Proven experience with mechanical diagnosis and repairs, small engine and equipment repair, or industrial machinery maintenance Strong command of English language Strong Welding skills and electrical experience preferred Knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Ability to lift heavy loads safely (up to 50 pounds or more) Previous mechanic experience is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Ability to work independently or as part of our team environments Relevant certifications or training in welding, electrical systems, or automotive repair are advantageous

Pay: $21.82-$31.89 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
