Job Description
Manpower is recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. On behalf of our client, we are looking for full-time Day Shift Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Dartmouth and Truro, Nova Scotia.

Diagnose malfunctions and preform vehicle repairs.
Oversee all work done.
Oversee all apprentices and shop employees.
Knowledge of work orders and parts
Computerized diagnostic equipment
Prioritize work orders.
Maintenance, warranty, and inspections
What do you bring to the job?
- Truck and Trailer mechanical repair experience
- Experience with Compliance with the local applicable DOT compliance of Med / Heavy Trucks
- Must be computer proficient
- Strong experience with computerized diagnostics
- Ability to use good judgment and Decision-Making skills
- Excellent time management and organizational Skills
- accurate, methodical, and detailed approach to testing and repair.
- Must be organized, diligent and detail oriented.
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment with hard deadlines and client demands.
