310S Mechanic Apprentice

LH North Ltd. is a leading heavy-civil construction company in Northwestern Ontario, specializing in the design and construction of high-quality infrastructure such as bridges, roads, deep foundations, and underground water systems. The company is now accepting applications for 310S Mechanic Apprentice who meet the following qualifications:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Under the direction and supervision of a licensed 310S Mechanic / Shop Foreman:

? Assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining light-duty vehicles & Equipment

? Perform basic services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.

? Support in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

? Document work performed, parts used and maintain accurate service records.

? Keep shop tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

? Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE use.

? Participate in hands-on learning and training requirements of the 310S apprenticeship program.

? Work with the mechanical team to ensure vehicles and equipment are repaired efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

? Registered or eligible to register as a 310S Automotive Service Technician Apprentice in Ontario.

? High school diploma or equivalent (completion of automotive courses is considered an asset).

? Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.

? Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

? Previous experience in an automotive or construction environment is considered an asset.
