Assurer l\'entretien et la r\xc3\xa9paration d\'une vaste gamme d\'\xc3\xa9quipements de location complexes, notamment des syst\xc3\xa8mes m\xc3\xa9caniques, \xc3\xa9lectriques, hydrauliques et diesels.

Participer \xc3\xa0 la formation des techniciens subalternes, au besoin.

Tenir \xc3\xa0 jour la documentation \xc3\xa9crite ou \xc3\xa9lectronique associ\xc3\xa9e aux travaux effectu\xc3\xa9s (bons de travail) de mani\xc3\xa8re exhaustive chaque jour dans les d\xc3\xa9lais prescrits.

Au besoin, se rendre sur le lieu de travail du client pour r\xc3\xa9parer ou entretenir son mat\xc3\xa9riel ou celui qu\'il a lou\xc3\xa9 (vous serez charg\xc3\xa9 de veiller \xc3\xa0 la propret\xc3\xa9 et au caract\xc3\xa8re pr\xc3\xa9sentable du v\xc3\xa9hicule de service).

Participer au ramassage et \xc3\xa0 la livraison des \xc3\xa9quipements et des pi\xc3\xa8ces.

R\xc3\xa9aliser les autres t\xc3\xa2ches demand\xc3\xa9es en fonction des besoins.

Exigences du poste :

Dipl\xc3\xb4me d\'\xc3\xa9tudes secondaires ou \xc3\xa9quivalent.

Permis de conduire valide assorti d\'un dossier de conduite jug\xc3\xa9 acceptable.

Exp\xc3\xa9rience de trois \xc3\xa0 cinq ans en r\xc3\xa9paration ou en entretien d\'\xc3\xa9quipements et d\'outils.

Comp\xc3\xa9tences avanc\xc3\xa9es en m\xc3\xa9canique et connaissance pratique des outils.

Connaissance approfondie de la m\xc3\xa9canique de divers moteurs.

Possession des outils applicables au poste obligatoire.

Service \xc3\xa0 la client\xc3\xa8le de qualit\xc3\xa9 sup\xc3\xa9rieure, esprit d\'\xc3\xa9quipe et capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 communiquer aussi bien \xc3\xa0 l\'oral qu\'\xc3\xa0 l\'\xc3\xa9crit.

Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 soulever fr\xc3\xa9quemment des objets pouvant peser jusqu\'\xc3\xa0 20 kg (45 lb).

As a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) at United Rentals, you\'ll use your skills to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe and professional manner. Additional duties include the following:

Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems

Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed

Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis

When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner

Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts

Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

Valid driver\'s license with acceptable driving record

3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools

Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools

Strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines

Must own tools applicable to position

Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
