Responsibilities

Prepare and wrap various meat products according to company standards. Ensure all products are labeled accurately with pricing and nutritional information. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat department, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and upselling when appropriate. Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for transactions and cash handling. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the department. Follow all food safety protocols during food handling and preparation.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Familiarity with cashiering duties and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in restaurant or kitchen environments is a plus. Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail in product presentation and packaging.
