Meat & Seafood Closing Department Clerk
Job Description
We are currently seeking candidates for a part-time position at our Meat & Seafood Service case. Previous retail or food service experience is preferred. Evening availability required as the role is to assist in closing the department nightly. Job responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving fresh meat & seafood requests
- Knowledge of beef and fish varieties is an asset
- Preparation, packaging, and replenishment of specialty meat & seafood service case products
- Using ingredients & following recipes to prepare products for sale
- Complete clean up and department take down in preparation of store closing
- Maintaining a clean & organized workspace
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Evening shift
Work Location: In person
