Shift:

Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 9:00 PM

Starting Rate:

$20.00/hour

After Probation Period (3 Months):

Wage increase to $21/hour Dental care Vision care On-site parking

Core Responsibilities

Work with raw meat through various stages of production. Fill meat casings with raw ingredients. Load and move racks of products to climate-controlled and dry rooms. Feed and unload processing machines Load products into buggies for further processing. Package, seal, and label meat products (chicken and beef). Monitor and record inspections at critical food safety steps. Unpack, space, and temper products as required. Load defrost bins with products and label them accurately. Ensure quality standards are met, removing products that do not meet these standards. Follow safe and hygienic food-handling practices and comply with WHMIS requirements. Work as part of a collaborative team to meet production goals.

Minimum Requirements

Must have good hand-eye coordination. Physical ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods and work in a cool environment. High attention to detail to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Strong communication skills to effectively work with team members. Basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills. Reliable transportation to the work location. Experience in food manufacturing or a fast-paced environment is an asset.
