We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Meat Plant Supervisor

to help lead daily production operations in our processing facility. This role is essential in ensuring efficiency, safety, quality control, and smooth workflow across all plant activities. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organized, and skilled at supervising staff while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Responsibilities



Supervise daily production floor activities, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plant procedures Coordinate and oversee staff assignments, monitor performance, and provide training or guidance as needed Ensure all meat processing, packaging, and handling procedures meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements Monitor equipment functionality, report maintenance needs, and support basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports, including inventory tracking and documentation for audits Promote a clean, safe workplace by enforcing sanitation standards, safety protocols, and proper use of PPE Communicate effectively with management regarding production goals, staffing needs, and operational improvements Support shipping, receiving, and inventory processes as needed Assist with onboarding new employees and ensuring compliance with company policies Perform additional duties and operational tasks as assigned

Experience & Qualifications



Previous experience in a meat processing plant, food production facility, or similar manufacturing environment Strong understanding of food safety standards, HACCP guidelines, and USDA regulations Supervisory or lead-hand experience preferred, with the ability to motivate and guide a team Ability to work in cold environments and stand for extended periods of time Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Basic computer literacy for completing reports and documentation Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends if needed
