Meat Cutter, MCF, Calgary Alberta
JBS Food Canada ULC is one of the largest beef processors in Canada. We are currently recruiting Meat Cutters for our Case Ready Plant called Mountain Creek Farms (MCF) located in Calgary, Alberta.
NOTE: This position will be located in Calgary, AB.
You will:
- Cut meat into specific cuts for retail or commercial use
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE, i.e. hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, mesh safety equipment, etc) as provided by the Employer
- Following sanitation standards to prevent meat contamination.
- Working in a variety of environments including wet, humid, cold
\xc2\xb7 Prior experience as a Meat Cutter preferred
\xc2\xb7 Fluent in English
Work conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physical demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods
Type of equipment: Knife, saw
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Cold/refrigerated.
