Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in meat preparation and cutting. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality while providing excellent customer service. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform meat cutting and preparation tasks, including but not limited to slicing, dicing, and grinding various types of meat. Ensure all meat products are handled safely and in compliance with food safety regulations. Package meat products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area, adhering to hygiene standards. Assist customers with inquiries regarding meat products, providing knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional service.. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a focus on meat cutting or butchering. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
