Position Summary:

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Meat Cutter will be accountable for the processing and production of Beef, Pork and Lamb products.

Key Responsibilities:

Cut product to our specifications and premium standards while maintaining and upkeeping safety standards. Ensure the quality of the received product is up to standard and dates are correct before processing. Package products to customer specifications. Ensure tools and equipment are sterilized prior to the end of the shift to fulfill food safety requirements. Ensure proper weight, description, and date is recorded on the products label. Extra duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

Willingness to work with raw meat products. Willingness to work in a cold environment. Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively. Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor. Previous work experience is required. Training will be provided. Commitment to safety standards and practices.
