Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products while providing exceptional service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Prepare, cut, trim, package and label various types of meat including beef, chicken and pork ensuring proper portion sizes, quality standards and food safety regulations Use machinery to prepare products for resale and ensuring machinery is cleaned, maintained and in safe working order Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively communicate with customers. Assist in merchandising and maintaining the sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and organized. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred and previous experience as a meat cutter or equivalent is required Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in cold environment. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as communication skills in multiple languages can enhance customer interactions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy retail setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse customers. A proactive approach to learning about new products and technology sales is beneficial. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
