Meat Cutter/Clerks

Responsibilities:

As a Meat Cutter/Clerk, you'll play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our meat department, ensuring our customers receive fresh, high-quality products. Your duties will include:

Cutting, trimming, and preparing various cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood according to our standards and customer requests. Assisting customers with meat selections, providing recommendations, and answering questions about products and cooking methods. Stocking and maintaining attractive and organized meat displays, ensuring proper rotation and freshness. Adhering strictly to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations. Cleaning and sanitizing all work areas and equipment. Assisting with inventory management and receiving meat products. Other duties as assigned to support store operations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a meat clerk/cutter or in a similar role is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of various cuts of meat, proper handling, and storage techniques. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong work ethics and ability to work independently and as part of a team. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
