As a Meat Clerk, you'll be responsible for handling, preparing, and displaying a variety of meat products. Experience in food service or kitchens is an asset but not required, we're happy to train the right candidate. Responsibilities:
Meat Preparation:
Cut, trim, and package meat according to quality standards.
Display and Presentation:
Arrange and label meat products in display cases, ensuring freshness and rotation.
Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels, track expiration dates, and communicate restocking needs.
Compliance:
Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
Passion for Meat:
A genuine interest in different cuts of meat and their preparation.
Customer Service Skills:
Approachable, friendly, and willing to engage with customers.
Physical Stamina:
Able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
Team Player:
Works well with colleagues and contributes to a positive work environment.
Availability:
Afternoon/evening availability wanted.
