TD Micronic is a global provider of precision conveyor scale measurement systems. We are located in Surrey with site work around Metro Vancouver, Sunshine Coast, currently ranging from Prince Rupert to State of Oregon. We are in the process of expanding our client base and our geographic region. We are an integral part of the global movement of bulk goods and as such we provide our clients 24/7 availability and support. We carry out equipment servicing, repair, calibrations and also commissioning of new equipment.
What you will do:
• Analise and resolve measurement control system problems (variances)
• Respond to service requests mostly on client site locations
• Perform regular service on clients equipment including calibration, diagnostics including any necessary part replacements or repairs
• Participate in product and procedure improvement processes and development
• Communicate with client upon arrival and prior to departure at job site
• Prepare service reports for client and TD Micronic records
• Perform specialized diagnostics with diagnostic equipment
• Calibrate equipment with various test equipment
• Apprise team/management and client of progress and any issues
• Follow TD Micronic and site Safety requirements, enacting duty to protect colleagues and equipment, and maintaining safe fatigue management
• Rostered duty to be on call for afterhours monitoring site data remotely and sometimes on site
• Attend sites for planned day and after hours shifts when required.
• Occasionally travel to remote destinations and extended stay for multiple days.
About you:
• Likes to get dirty (most of our clients are in the potash and metallurgical coal industries)
• Valid BCDL, Class 5 and good driver's abstract
• Proven Electrical and Mechanical qualifications or aptitude, skills and understanding
• Good technical communication skills, written, verbal and comprehension in English
• Presents well and able to project positive representation of company to clients
• Common sense and logical thinker

Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Part-time hours are as needed
