Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily management of all aspects of the Department. Ensure that department budgets met through efficient operation of department (includes gross profit, wage cost, operational expenses and inventory) Promote a Positive, Healthy and Safe working environment (Ensure safety polices are being adhered to) Champion and exemplify exceptional customer service and satisfaction through consistent application of store processes and standards Consistently deliver operational excellence. Ensure service counters and display cases 'wow' the customer; execute dept. standards to offer an exceptionally presentable department with a reputation for freshness & quality Train, coach and motivate employees to maintain a strong sense of morale, productivity and engagement Monitor financial objectives and ensure that budgets are met through efficient operation of the department, managing labour productivity, gross profit, operational expenses, inventory control, net contribution and shrink targets Maintain the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness, ensure all safe food-safety practices are adhered to at all times Provide direction coaching and support to department staff as necessary. Adhere to company standards and ensure that company policies and procedures followed. Available to work evenings and weekends (when required) Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Three to Five years' experience and sound working knowledge of Restaurant, Prepared Food/or retail environment Must be available to work a minimum of two evenings and weekends when required. Previous management/leadership experience in the retail industry is an asset. Courses in food management, retail merchandising, or business management would be an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Systems skills (Email, Word, Excel, Share Point applications).
