Sunday - Wednesday 4Pm- 7Pm 12 hrs/Week @ $24.34/ hr ( Great for students or a second job :))



Saturday and Sundays 6 am to 2 pm 15hrs/Week @ $22.51/hr



Saturday and Sundays 11:30 to 7:30pm 15hrs/Week @ $22.51/hr



Monday and Tuesdays 11 am to 7 pm 15hrs/Week @ $24.34/hr



Temporary Full Time postion :



Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:30am - 6:30pm Friday and Saturday 6am- 2pm 37.5 Hours/Week @ $24.34/ hr



Reporting to the Manager (or designate), the Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, portioning, and meal service, as well as the cleanliness of the work environment and adherence to health and safety regulations. Responsibilities and Duties



Set tables and serve food and beverages in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations, following the corporate Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan. Performs all duties in relation to the serving and distribution of food. Ensures that food is served in accordance with the dietary requirements of the residents. Unpack and store supplies using proper body mechanics. Maintain work and storage areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Wash, clean, and store dishes, cutlery, fixtures, and equipment used for food preparation and service. Operate and clean food service equipment and furniture. Prepare food items, assemble ready foods for meal trays, and deliver food trays to units and dining areas. Clean tables and service counter areas after meals. Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to fire/emergency procedures and policies of the facility. Adhere to infection control practices. Perform other related duties as assigned. Operate related equipment. See something, Do Something! Proactively prioritize the health and safety of all workers, residents, and visitors. Reports all hazards, incidents and near misses in writing. Utilize the Right to Refuse unsafe work when appropriate, by following the proper procedure. Access safety information that applies to your position: Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, Policies/Procedures, First Aide.
Mandatory Qualifications

Valid Food Save Level 1 Certificate.

Must have a working knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).

Holds and Maintains Valid certification in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).

Holds and maintains Serving It Right if required as per facility.

Negative TB test or chest x-ray within the last six months, or ability to provide TB clearance documents. Successfully clears and maintains, as required by company and facility, an appropriate background/criminal record check in accordance with licensing regulations; Re-submits such as required or every five years. Provide signed annual mandatory declaration of criminal records. Working knowledge of special diets. Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal. Have the physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
